We’re building a dedicated page to showcase the amazing variety of dumbo rats—different colors, markings, and most importantly, personalities. The goal is to highlight how no two rats are the same. From sleepy lap noodles to chaotic climbing goblins, every rat has something worth sharing.

Your submission will help create a real-world gallery that shows how wonderfully diverse and expressive pet rats can be—not just in appearance, but in temperament, habits, and charm.

Here’s what to include:

🖼️ 1. A Clear Photo

• One or more clear, well-lit photos of your rat
• JPEG or PNG preferred
• Rats can be solo, with cage mates, in costume, mid-nap—whatever shows their vibe
• No filters or digital edits, please—let those whiskers shine naturally!

📋 2. A Short Written Submission

Tell us about your rat in your own words. This doesn’t need to be long, just real. Some ideas to get you started:

• Name and age
• Favorite thing to do (e.g. digging, stealing crackers, faceplanting into hammocks)
• Funniest or weirdest thing they’ve ever done
• Has this rat ever made you laugh—or cry? Tell us about a moment
• What makes them special to you?
• Any quirks, dramatic behaviors, crimes, or secret identities welcome

Optional but encouraged:

• Nicknames
• “If they were a human, they’d be…” (e.g. “a lazy jazz musician” or “a suspicious Etsy candle reviewer”)
• Anything you wish more people understood about rats, told through this one’s personality

📝 Requirements Summary

• At least one high-quality photo
• Some written description (doesn’t need to be formal)
• Must be your rat or one you have permission to share
• By submitting, you agree to have your rat’s photo and story published on the site (first names only unless you specify)

Got more than one rat? Even better. Send a group pic or submit them individually—this is a museum, after all.
